News – Trützschler Textile Machinery in China

A powerful line for producing innovative sustainable wipes from renewable resources is born!

We successfully started the first industrial wet-laying/spunlacing line for carded-pulp (CP) materials together with Ecowipes.

The goal for EcoWipes was to develop innovative, technologically advanced solutions which would provide eco-friendly alternatives and would make it possible to eliminate plastic from hygienic and cosmetic products. Together with Truetzschler Nonwovens and Voith we made this goal a reality.

With that objective in mind, Tricell was created - an innovative nonwoven based on FSC®-certified cellulose. It is a great composite: a pulp layer enhances absorbency and impacts positively production costs, the carded layer from viscose fibres gives strength and softness and it is biodegradable.

CEO Gabriel Kermiche proudly announces the revolutionary nonwoven created by Ecowipes on Truetzschler Nonwovens & Voith´s line is already a great success. “The interest in this nonwoven is beyond our expectations” he says. “As Tricell wipes are already available on the market, we can see that the product is sustainable and allows to save tonnes of plastic.

Vietnam is one of the top textile producing nations in the world and its textile exports continue to rise. Truetzschler has been active in the Vietnamese market since decades, using the premises and warehouses of the local sales agency. In order to fulfil the growing demand and to serve customers even better, Truetzschler decided to find its own service company in Vietnam.

The new service station covers an area of 740 square meters, with a complete maintenance workshop, spare parts and card clothing warehouses, a spacious customer training room and office area. It cooperates with the Nanding service station to serve Vietnamese customers in a comprehensive manner, one north and one south.

The service team includes technicians, electricians and mechanics, and is led by Mr. Umesh, Director of Operations. After years of development, the Trützschler Vietnam service team has become an excellent team.

The Vietnam Service Station not only serves local customers in Vietnam, but also other Trützschler customers investing in Vietnam, especially more and more Chinese customers.

In order to better serve Chinese customers, Trützschler Textile Machinery (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. cooperates closely with the Vietnamese service station. The Shanghai company provides project planning, equipment and service consultation, and the Vietnamese service station provides nearby after-sales support according to the Shanghai company’s instructions. .

Mr. Herbert Mehl said: "The expansion of the Trützschler Vietnam service station allows us to provide customers with more comprehensive exclusive services.
